House Diana is one of the schoolHouses at The Institute. Their Standard, Sigil, and Ring is a Stag.

Castle[]

The Castle of House Diana on Mars resides hidden within the Greatwoods, east of the House Mars Highlands and south of House Minerva. It's in the realm of godTrees where the colossuses block light and their roots stretch up like tentacles to sap energy from the soil as they grow tall as buildings. There are supposed to be bloodbacks (monstrous carved bears) in the woods, as well as boars and deer since those are the goddess Diana's animals.

The students wear fatigues the same color as the woods. They are equipped with bows, knives, horses, and ropes used to climb through the treetops. They used berries to paint the "hunting moon" on their faces and animal pelts dangle from their belts.[1]

Proctor[]

The Proctor of House Diana at The Institute of Mars in 737 PCE is an unnamed Gold woman, described by the Proctor of House Mars, Fitchner au Barca, to be a "harlot"[2] and Fitchner sends a phallic shaped cake filled with live woodpeckers to House Diana in response of Proctor Diana sending live cats to House Jupiter after Proctor Mercury sent live rats.

Attributes[]

The students picked for House Diana are characterized by being skilled hunters. According to the Stonemaier game, "House Diana can blend into nature, live off the land, and loves to use the element of surprise."[3]
