Moira au Grimmus was a Gold of House Grimmus and the Chief Politico of Octavia au Lune. She is the daughter of the Ash Lord and the sister of Aja and Atalantia au Grimmus.

Appearance[]

Moira is described as looking like "a puffy pastry of a woman" in comparison to Aja, but that her sweet smile is "half again as sinister as her sister's razor."[1]

Involvement[]

Pre-Saga[]

In her role as The Sovereign's Politico, Moira oversaw the databases of the Society Intelligence Bureau, including psychological profiles on key individuals.[2]

Golden Son[]

Moira was present during the Gala Massacre as part of Octavia's retinue alongside her sisters. During the Martian Civil War, she travelled to Hildas Station with the Storm knight to meet with Pliny au Velocitor and the other bannermen of House Augustus where Pliny would present a document of formal surrender to the Sovereign. that would result in the restructuring of Mars and Pliny being made the head of his own house.

When Darrow arrives aboard the Invictus with Virginia au Augustus and Lorn au Arcos, they find Moira and the rest of Pliny's allies in the warroom. When the Augustan bannermen abandon Pliny to rally around Darrow, Moira and the Storm Knight ignore Pliny's pleas for aide and withdraw.

Morning Star[]

When Darrow and The Howlers infiltrate Quicksilver's tower on Phobos, they find Moira, Cassius, and a team of Gold negotiators meeting with Virginia and Kavax to arrange for Virginia and her allies to be pardoned by Octavia in exchange for removing her brother as ArchGovernor of Mars and imprisoning him for life.

Hostilities erupted, as both parties in the negotiation mistook the Howlers for Boneriders, and when Moira tried to kill Sevro, Darrow fired at her with his pulseFist until she died. As Moira died, her fingers tightened around the trigger of her own pulseFist, causing it to shoot into the ceiling on full automatic. Her dying shots kill two escaping Silvers and crack the glass of the viewport before the pulseFist finally overheats.
